Let's talk about the role and responsibilities

• Build metadata repository and integration
• Develop Data Governance process workflows
• Build robust, efficient and reliable data pipelines consisting of diverse data sources to ingest and process data
• Assemble large, complex data sets to meet functional / non-functional requirements
• Design, develop and implement data pipelines for data migration and collection, data analytics and other data movement solutions
• Work with stakeholders and data analyst teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs

Let's talk about your capability and experience:

• Good command of a cloud-native ecosystem, GCP preferred
• Experience with multiple programming languages - Golang, Python, Java, bash
• Hands on experience with system integration and API management
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code and config-as-code, especially Terraform
• Experience with continuous Integration/Delivery Tooling such as Git, Bamboo, Sonarqube, buildKite or similar
• Knowledge of software test strategies, build-systems, packaging and dependency management
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or Linux
• Experience with Logging tools such as Stack Driver and Splunk.
• Ability to design and implement cloud security, availability and reliability best practices.
• Experience working with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable solutions.

Nice to have:

• Any other cloud-native experience
• Engagement with the wider software community
• Familiar with API gateway tools such as Kong
• Familiar with governance processes - e.g. role based access control
